I wrote a Wordpress plugin that allows the site owner to:
- Allow users to get site buttons, complete with code.
- Track views and clicks of the button.
Basically, you can tell which of your users supports your site and who draws the most traffic.
Latest Version: 0.4.1
Recently Added Features:
0.4.1
- Added IP ignoring feature.
- Re-arranged admin section into 2 sections
0.3.1
- Added tracking of slogan clicks.
0.3.0
- Added user level control (global)
- Added buttons for checking latest version and whatnot.
0.2.8
- removed a some text that should have been removed versions ago.
0.2.7
- fixed the way the hover stuff works for referer tracking.
0.2.2
- added referer tracking
- made Click Ratio a percentage
Errata:
There’s an action I’ve added that is not native to wordpress. The action, custom_dashboard_stuff, should be added to your wp-admin/index.php where you would like the dashboard embeded section to show. I put mine near the bottom of the file, a few lines above the <div style=”clear:both;”>
The code is:
<?php if ($user_level==0) do_action(’custom_dashboard_stuff’); ?>

[...] WordPress Image TrackerThis plugin allows you track the view and clickthrough stats of images/buttons/banners that you provide to others to place on their own blogs/MySpace profiles, etc. Seems useful for those “Proud YourBlogName Reader” chicklets that appear now and then, or even stuff like the Performancing Banner.
